When ~하면, 할때

 

I'll call you when I arrive 도착하면 연락할께

I'll call you as soon as  I arrive 도착하자마자 연락할께

I was already on the bus when I got the phone call 내가 그전화를 받았을때 이미 버스에 탄 상태였어

After / Before

 

after ~한후에,~하고나서

before 하기전에

 

I'm going to go to the movies after work

퇴근하고 나서 영화를 보러 갈거에요

-after work 는 after I get off work 줄임말, get off work 퇴근하다

ex) what time do you get off work? 너 몇시에 퇴근해?

 

I have some time after the meeting(ends)

미팅끝나고 나서 시간이 조금 있어요.

I'm going to take a shower before (I go to) bed

자기전에 샤워를 할거에요

I'm going to go jogging before I go to work.

출근하기 전에 조깅하러 갈거에요

I'm going to go for a run before I go to work.

-go for a walk : 산책하러가다

-go for a drive :  드라이브 하러 가다

I always check the weather forecast before I leave in the morning

저는 아침에 나오기 전에 항상 날씨를 확인해요

Until ~할때까지

 

I waited until yesterday

어제까지 기다렸어요.

We have to wait until someone leaves

누가 갈때까지 기다려야 돼요.

We shouldn't do anything until we get further instructions

아무것도 하지 않는 것이 좋겠어 + 지시를 더 받을 때 까지

You just have to keep doing it until you get used to it

그냥 계속해야돼+익숙해질때까지는

-keep+ing : 계속/지속적으로/자꾸 +~를 하다.

-get used to + A : A에 익숙해지다

Let's just stay here until the rain stops

비가 그칠때까지는 그냥 여기있자
